As Practitioner Su reminds us, Buddhism is not a religion—it is an education that guides us toward purity and goodness (純淨純善), and ultimately to freedom from aging and illness, lasting joy, and rebirth in the Western Pure Land (不老不病，身心安樂，往生西方極樂世界).
