A Guiding Light in Pure Land Practice
Lay Practitioner Xia Lian Ju
For over a decade, our respected teacher, Lay Practitioner Xia, has been spiritually present at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, offering guidance and wisdom to fellow Pure Land practitioners.
During his lifetime, Lay Practitioner Xia devoted himself entirely to the Pure Land practice and teachings, earning great renown within the Buddhist community.
With deep vows, he undertook the task of compiling the five versions of the Infinite Life Sutra. Over the course of more than ten years, his efforts resulted in “The Buddha Speaks of the Infinite Life Sutra of Adornment, Purity, Equality and Enlightenment.”—a text now regarded as an essential daily recitation for Pure Land practitioners.
Today, we have the privilege of accessing his profound wisdom through messages received by our practitioners, who are able to connect with the Buddha and all spiritual beings.
