Sent to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss — Guo Shiqian (Son of Li Chunru's friend)

Lay Practitioner Guo Shiqian:

I am now in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, a world I never imagined I would reach during my lifetime, yet I have truly set foot upon this Buddha-land. I am filled with deep emotion, and more importantly, immense gratitude. I am grateful for the compassion of Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su for giving me such a wonderful opportunity to be reborn into this beautiful Buddha-land. Everything is so wonderful that I am overwhelmed.

I used to be depressed and left the human world in great sorrow by ending my own life. Shortly after I died, I heard someone in the spiritual realms calling my name: "Guo Shiqian." Then, a light shone upon my whole body, making me feel very warm. I believed then that this light must come from a good place and could take me to a good world, so I followed the light and arrived directly at the Western Dharma-Nature Land.

Everything changed so quickly. Although my body died, my spirit gradually underwent purification in the Western Dharma-Nature Land, slowly relaxing, and I no longer felt the pain and tension I had before. After I truly let go, I became very light. This is the greatest power of purification that the compassion of Buddha or Bodhisattva in the Buddha-land brings to us beings.

I am Guo Shiqian. I left the human world at fifty, and I did so by hanging myself at home. To be honest, the reason I went down this path was partly because I truly felt I could not see a future, nor a beautiful path ahead; the other half of the reason was that I truly could not be the master of myself. At the final moment of death, I was actually in a state of confusion, as if I were being led by the nose by some force, which is why I did such a thing. In fact, I did not really want to die, but this force was so strong that I felt I had to follow the script, and thus I unknowingly walked this path, causing my family to suffer immense pain. This is something I feel very guilty and self-reproachful about, knowing that what I did was truly not right.

Fortunately, a friend of my mother was very kind. Hearing that my mother was weeping bitterly over my death, she helped me by registering me for Chao Du. She knows the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, so she was able to encounter a true Buddha to perform Chao Du for me. Such magnificent Causal Conditions are not easily encountered, so I am very grateful for everything that the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, Namo Amituofo, and Practitioner Su have managed, allowing so many beings to benefit, to leave suffering and gain happiness, and to no longer suffer.

If it were any other temple in the world, I fear they would not be able to achieve this, because the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia truly has a Buddha present, just as during Shakyamuni Buddha's time, which is why it can exert such immense power in the spiritual realms.

I hope that all my family members who see this letter, which I dictated and others have compiled, can understand my situation and forgive me. Although I know their pain, I still hope they can move on soon.

I sincerely hope my family can forgive my ignorance and forgive me for not valuing my own life. When one's mental note goes astray, it is easy to be used and controlled by other beings. If I had not thought about this, I would naturally not have had such an outcome.

I also sincerely hope that if you have the opportunity to know the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia, you must visit. After the people at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre in Australia are purified, they can communicate heart-to-heart with my spirit, and you can also witness with your own eyes what the true Buddha-land looks like. Although invisible, one can always feel the magnificence of this temple, which is different from other places.

Finally, I sincerely say sorry to everyone again.

Life comes and goes in a flash. After half a century, I chose to leave in this way, causing no small impact on everyone, for which I am deeply sorry.

I also advise all friends to let go of their own feelings and focus wholeheartedly on the Buddha's path.
