Lin Qiaozhi:
At this moment, I, Lin Qiaozhi, am on the Western Land of Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Goombungee, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, reciting the Holy Name "" with the most sincere heart.
A single "Amitabha Buddha" can possess immeasurable and boundless merits; a single "Namo Amituofo" can heal all illnesses in the world. Whether it is physical pain or psychological illness, all can be healed; this naturally includes any gynaecological conditions, which goes without saying.
Since childhood, I was born into a Christian family and baptised as a Christian. "Love thy neighbour as thyself, benevolence and universal love"—these kind spirits and virtues deeply influenced me.
Becoming a doctor was a path I chose without regret. I dedicated my entire life to medicine, hoping to use my brief life to allow more people to be saved.
In this life, I did not marry, nor did I have children. As a doctor, I deeply felt the fragility of humans and the impermanence of life. Once married, one has attachments in the heart and must pay a very high price for that relationship or marriage. Perhaps some people think it is worth it, but in my heart, Lin Qiaozhi, rather than dedicating my life to a family, it was more valuable to contribute my life to helping a larger group of people. Because of this, I set my ambition very early on to never enter into marriage, but instead to walk this path of self-sacrifice and saving patients.
Throughout my journey, I have always firmly believed in the simplicity and kindness of my own nature. Being influenced by the Christian faith from a young age greatly nourished the kind nature within me. I have always cherished and deeply trusted this impulse to help others, or the natural arising of the desire to help others leave behind their pain.
I can clearly feel that when the desire to help others arises in my heart, it seems that in that instant, I have forgotten myself. In that moment, it seems that all I think about is how to help others escape suffering, rather than thinking about anything related to this body of mine. At such times, my heart feels very cool, very at ease, and even a sense of arises naturally.
Later, when I came to the Western Land of Dharma Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre and listened to the Dharma, I finally understood that this is what is called "Dharma joy." It turns out that Buddhism and Christianity are not essentially different; both aim to help people nourish and promote the kind nature that is inherent within them. However, in terms of Christianity, it cannot help believers obtain true benefits, which is the greatest difference between Buddhism and Christianity.
Because learning Buddhism allows one to become a Buddha and find the true self—which is as compassionate, wise, pure, dignified, and auspicious as the Buddha. It turns out that everyone is a Buddha, and everyone is a Buddha who has come to the human world to help sentient beings. When I heard Practitioner Su speak like this, it was as if a door in my heart had been opened; I suddenly felt my heart broaden, and it felt as if a brand-new world had suddenly opened up before me.
It turns out that although the Christian faith is based on kind intentions and initial aspirations, it cannot help people truly recognise their original face; whereas learning Buddhism can help one find one's original self, which means one can attain Buddhahood through righteous faith and be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. There, one will not have a limited lifespan like the celestial beings living in heaven, but will be able to live an eternal and infinite spiritual life in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. There is no suffering there, only pure and supreme bliss. Such a Buddha-land established by Amitabha Buddha is truly a place where everyone should go.
At this very moment, I, Lin Qiaozhi, am very fortunate to tell everyone that I can be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is because the Western Land of Dharma Nature established by Practitioner Su is a transit station for entering the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. In my heart, I have already considered myself a member of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. While feeling infinitely grateful, I also very much hope that countless people in China can, like me, recognise the beauty of the Western Land and make the great vow to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is so important, because if one fails to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, one's spirit will suffer a great deal of pain within the cycle of reincarnation.
Throughout my life, my heart has actually been very stable, because I have always had great confidence in the kind nature within me. In the past, I also held a very sincere faith in Jesus Christ; perhaps it was because of this pure faith that I often felt a force protecting me.
Now that I have learned Buddhism, I know that this was actually what is called "Buddha's ." Although I did not know Amitabha Buddha at that time, because of the preciousness of and confidence in this kind thought within me, I received help from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the unseen realm.
What exactly is a Buddha?
It turns out that a Buddha is the representative of complete, pure, and perfect goodness; that is, the practitioner of the universal principle and the righteous path of Truth. In the entire Dharma Realm, any sentient being who harbours kind thoughts can actually receive help from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the unseen realm. This is something that I, Lin Qiaozhi, currently believe in very firmly.
Goodness is indeed the most powerful force in the universe, because Truth is completely pure and perfectly good, without a trace of selfishness, without a trace of "self." It turns out that this is the universal principle and the righteous path of Truth.
Amitabha Buddha came to the human world to demonstrate this crucial lesson for everyone: teaching everyone what the true Truth is. The realisation of Truth does not actually require any form of study; it only requires letting go of the delusions and messy thoughts in one's heart. If one can make one's heart empty and only have this phrase "Namo Amituofo," then one's heart, speech, and behaviour will naturally align with the universal principle and the righteous path of Truth.
In this life, although I, Lin Qiaozhi, did not have the chance to know the Truth, did not have the opportunity to know Amitabha Buddha and the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, and did not have the opportunity to receive Buddhist education, I was very fortunate to grow up in a very kind environment and encountered the Christian faith. Although it was not ultimate and perfect, it always helped me protect the simplicity and kindness within my heart.
And it was precisely because of my faith in Jesus Christ and my confidence in the simple and kind nature within me that my heart remained very stable even when I encountered many trials and difficulties throughout my life. Many times, I naturally did not have too many thoughts or analyses, and I did not even think about anything, because the only thing I was interested in was helping more patients be saved; the only thing I thought about was the act of saving people.
A simple life can have an extraordinary impact; simple acts of goodness can provide others with unexpected help. This is my realisation from a lifetime of practising medicine.
After leaving the human world, my spirit entered the hells. This is a very unfortunate thing, but it is indeed the truth. Speaking of it now is not to make everyone feel that someone like me, who has a kind heart and such firm faith, ended up in hell after death, and thus lose their persistence in the kind nature within their hearts; rather, it is to hope that after understanding this, everyone can understand the importance of recognising the universal principle and the righteous path of Truth.
Because in Truth, one cannot have even a little bit of "self." If one cannot truly see through this false body and understand that this body is false and not real, one cannot truly understand that what one should do in this life is to elevate one's spirit and find the Buddha-nature within one's heart, rather than making any pursuits in the world or satisfying any desires for .
Even being satisfied with any form of good deeds in this world is actually not enough. Because as long as one's heart still has any worldliness, it means that one is still a distance away from the universal principle and the righteous path of Truth. A true practitioner of Truth, even though his body is still active in this human world, his heart has already returned to the pure and perfectly good Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.
Now I, Lin Qiaozhi, tell everyone the fact that I entered hell after leaving the human world, actually hoping that the many people in the world who, like me, harbour light and kindness in their hearts, must realise that what they are doing now is far from enough, and that the simplicity and kindness in their hearts have not yet been truly exerted and correctly utilised.
This kind nature is actually the Buddha-nature within everyone that is the same as the Buddha's. This Buddha-nature originally exists in our spirits. Being willing to help others in the human world is a precious thing, but if one cannot help others obtain true benefits, and there is even a little bit of "self" mixed in, that will actually cause one to receive negative feedback in terms of the laws of and cause and effect.
What exactly is "self"? It turns out that it is what is called thoughts. Where there are thoughts, there is a self. If one can truly achieve a state of no-mind and no-thought, then where would this self come from? Because for a person, all thoughts and reflections are actually for this illusory physical body; all thoughts and analyses are actually derived from this body.
Indeed, people need to recognise the concept of the spirit. It turns out that this body is just a shell used by the spirit, and the spirit within the body is the true self. When a person comes to this world, it is indeed as mentioned in the teachings of the Dharma: one comes empty-handed and leaves empty-handed. When I came, this spirit of mine brought nothing, and so I arrived in the human world and entered this body; and after leaving the human world, my spirit also took nothing away, and so I left this body that we were only allowed to borrow for a short time.
In the cycle of reincarnation, only one's own spirit actually accompanies oneself. There are no friends, no lovers, teachers, or parents who will accompany one by one's side; it has always been "born alone, die alone, go alone, come alone." When I came to the Western Land of Dharma Nature and heard this sutra passage, it was as if a lamp of the heart had been lit within me.
If one can truly recognise this, one will understand that every person who comes to the human world has a very huge task and mission, which is to achieve the Buddha-nature within one's heart and find one's original face. It turns out that becoming a Buddha is the only major event that everyone should do when they come to the human world.
If this major event can be accomplished, it will be able to help oneself and the countless sentient beings of cells within one's body be saved. After becoming a Buddha, one will have the ability to save all boundless suffering sentient beings. This is the demonstration made by Practitioner Su of the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
After to one's true nature and attaining Buddhahood in the human world, Practitioner Su allowed himself and the countless cells, sentient beings, and within his body to awaken to their true nature and attain Buddhahood together, and transformed them into his countless manifestations. These countless manifestations are entirely derived from the pure and perfectly good heart of Practitioner Su.
The achievement of is by no means accidental; it represents Practitioner Su's firm vow to save the world and sentient beings, and his true belief in Amitabha Buddha and his own inherent Buddha-nature. Because faith and vows are complete, he is truly able to hold the Holy Name "Namo Amituofo" in every moment, perform for immeasurable and boundless sentient beings, and accumulate immeasurable and boundless merits.
Practitioner Su truly achieved the maximum potential of his body, mind, and spirit in the human world, acting naturally and freely without obstruction. Various inconceivable demonstrations, including leading the deceased to be reborn in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, saving the extremely suffering beings in hell to the Western Land of Dharma Nature, performing Chao Du for immeasurable and boundless demon crowds to enable them to return to the Buddha's path, or performing spiritual healing for people, are all operating within the universal principle and the righteous path of Truth.
After I, Lin Qiaozhi, entered hell, it was precisely because of Practitioner Su's compassionate heart and great vows that I was very fortunate to be saved by Practitioner Su from hell and placed on the Western Land of Dharma Nature at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre.
This place truly allowed my faith to be sublimated, allowing me, who previously believed in Jesus Christ, to transform into a student of Amitabha Buddha, no longer carrying any religious colour in my heart, but completely following the teachings of the Dharma, correcting my wrong concepts and views, and using this "Namo Amituofo" to purify my body, mind, and spirit.
I am very grateful to have had this experience, allowing me to fulfil the belief I upheld throughout my life—that is, the persistence in and faith towards my inherent, simple, and good nature, which was also my faith in Jesus Christ. However, after arriving at the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I understood that Jesus Christ was also a sage who descended from the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Taking this opportunity, at a time when Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su appeared in the world together, the Causal Conditions were ripe. Practitioner Su guided him from the celestial realm to the Western Land of Dharma Nature, and subsequently sent him to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. At this very moment, Jesus Christ has returned to the embrace of the compassionate father Namo Amituofo and is a holy assembly member of the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Upon understanding this, I felt great joy in my heart. Because when I first arrived at the Western Land of Dharma Nature, I could feel that the magnetic field here was filled with pure goodness. This magnetic field of pure goodness made my spirit very stable and peaceful. This was a power I was not unfamiliar with, yet it was more powerful than any force of pure goodness I had ever encountered in the past. Later, I learned that this is the temple established by Practitioner Su, formed by Practitioner Su's heart and vows. It turns out that this powerful force of pure goodness, which I had never encountered before, is what is known as the Buddha's blessings. Because the Buddha is the purest and most good existence in the entire Dharma Realm and empty space, and the Buddha's power is naturally the most powerful force of pure goodness in the entire Dharma Realm and empty space. This Holy Name "Namo Amituofo" represents the extremely pure and extremely good energy in the universe. Oh! After I arrived at the Western Land of Dharma Nature, following the sound of the Buddha's name coming from the air, I began to chant "Namo Amituofo", the Dharma joy in my heart is indescribable. I only felt such a powerful, pure, and good energy radiating from within my soul outwards. This discovery surprised and astonished me! It turns out that when I chant the Buddha's name, this power of pure goodness does not come from the outside, but naturally arises and radiates from within my own soul. Later, after receiving Buddhist education, I understood that I was originally a Buddha, that I and Namo Amituofo have always been one, not two; and that there has never been any distinction between Jesus Christ and Namo Amituofo. This is the difference between Buddhist education and Christianity: 1. In the Christian faith, we believe that there is God, and He is not me. 2. In Buddhist education, it tells us that everyone can become a Buddha, and everyone possesses the same perfect, bright Buddha-nature. As my bright Buddha-nature grew with the time I spent in the Western Land of Dharma Nature, listening daily to the great Dharma of Namo Amituofo and the lectures of Practitioner Su, the obstacles in my heart were slowly opened up bit by bit. Every day, I sat on the lotus seat chanting "Namo Amituofo". The more I chanted, the more Dharma joy I felt; the more I chanted, the more I personally verified that I was originally a Buddha. Because when chanting the Buddha's name, the Buddha's power can bless me, and this Buddha's power actually radiates from the depths of my heart. This truly allowed me, in every single "Namo Amituofo" Buddha-name, to verify that I possess the same self-nature as the Buddha, and that I am indeed a Buddha. In the past, I believed in Jesus Christ, but now I have made a huge transformation: 1. It is to believe that I can, like Jesus Christ, sacrifice myself to benefit all beings. 2. Furthermore, it is to believe that I can, like Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su, be fierce and fearless, freely and unimpededly save all suffering beings. Arriving at the Western Land of Dharma Nature allowed me, Lin Qiaozhi, to truly fulfil the faith I held in the secular world. It made my faith in myself more complete because I inherently possess Buddha-nature; and furthermore, it raised my faith in Namo Amituofo—this is not idol worship or an obsession with external forces, but a true belief in the Buddha that has always existed in my heart. Because Namo Amituofo has actually always been in my heart and has never left. Perhaps this is the true meaning of "Universal Buddha" that Practitioner Su often speaks of. There is no place where Namo Amituofo is not present, and Namo Amituofo also exists in everyone's heart at the same time. Learning Buddhism, it turns out, is learning Namo Amituofo, and learning the Truth. Because Namo Amituofo is the Truth, and the Truth is Namo Amituofo. Namo Amituofo is my heart, and my heart is Namo Amituofo; the Truth has always existed in my own heart. At this very moment, I, Lin Qiaozhi, sincerely hope that every Chinese person can come to receive Buddhist education and truly realise from the depths of their hearts what the true Truth is. Not only to have complete and thorough faith in the power of pure goodness inherent in their hearts, but also to have perfect faith in their ability to attain Buddhahood and save all suffering beings. Every Chinese person should be a great man like Namo Amituofo, and should also believe that they are inherently a great man like Namo Amituofo. Why have Chinese people today gradually lost the originally sufficient, dignified, and auspicious characteristics of a great man? It is entirely because they have not had Buddhist education since childhood. The connection between the Chinese people and the Buddha's teachings is so deep, yet now there is a force hindering China from connecting with the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. That is the power of the demon crowds in the Demon Realm, and it can also be this worldly heart within every Chinese person. What is worldly? It is actually going against nature, leaving behind the way one should be, being accustomed to using various methods to solve problems, and being accustomed to using thoughts, reasoning, and ideas to help oneself. If one can change the worldly heart into a Buddha-heart, no longer believing in one's own body-mind-spirit world, but believing in one's inherent, indestructible "simple and good nature", then the future of China will be different. Grateful to Namo Amituofo, grateful to Practitioner Su, for helping me. I also implore Namo Amituofo to help the people of China, and this also requires the Chinese people to be willing to believe in the power of purity and goodness again. Believe that in the future, China will surely be able to connect with Namo Amituofo, and that will be the time when the Chinese people are saved. Namo Amituofo Lin Qiaozhi [[BLOCK_1]]
