"Concentration in motion" means having meditative concentration amidst movement.
Those with meditative concentration have a heart that does not move; regardless of the other person's body, speech, or expression, the heart remains unaffected and unmoved.
Such a person can adapt to myriad changes without being influenced by external environments, and can use the wisdom generated from their meditative concentration to manifest the power of "wisdom born from meditative concentration," thereby causing the external environment to change.
This is a profound skill of practice; Buddha or and Those who have realised their true nature possess this skill, and it is also a prerequisite for those who save beings.
Beings exist within impermanence, constantly changing, shifting in an instant.
If one wishes to teach beings, the teacher must respond with "meditative concentration," remaining undisturbed by their changes; instead, the power of wisdom generated from meditative concentration allows beings to find stability, calming their restless hearts, and naturally, they too will become stable.
This is the ability of one who possesses meditative concentration and wisdom to naturally radiate from within to subdue and stabilise others.
One with meditative concentration can observe the capacity of others and act accordingly;
this action is selfless and , moving purely to save the other person and to save beings.
It is impartial, with a clean and transparent heart, seeing the surrounding changes clearly and speaking clearly, and is even better able to respond with wisdom.
This is the ability that those who teach beings should possess, so that they may achieve the goal of saving beings.
Among these, virtue is a very important component.
Those with true virtue have no-self; they do not act only when others are watching, nor do they refrain from acting when others are not. They are consistent whether in public or in private, and thus they are respected by everyone and followed in learning.
In those with true virtue, one can often see their meditative concentration, deeply hidden in the heart.
They do not go along with the crowd, nor are they tempted by external environments to lose their stance or original vow. Amidst the flow of material desires, they take what is needed to benefit beings, but take nothing for themselves.
A true practitioner reduces their own needs to the minimum, while being able to fulfil the needs of beings.
For those whose Buddha-name is uninterrupted 24/7, concentration in motion is a natural occurrence;
it is a profound skill of practice;
it is necessary for teaching beings in the world.
