Without End

Teachings by Teacher Practitioner Xia Lianju:

The grace of parents in bearing, raising, and caring for their children

occurs within the karmic conditions and causes and effects of this life; it is a karmic bond,

and familial affection ceases when the karmic connection ends at the conclusion of this life.

The salvation of beings by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is grasped in every second and instant, continuing throughout many lives without end.

When spiritual connections manifest, beings, regardless of their time, place, status, or role,

all have the opportunity to be saved by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

This is not limited to this life; in past lives, the present life, or future lives, there is always a time to be saved.

Where can sentient beings with karmic affinity be saved? Where are they going?

Buddhas and Bodhisattvas know all of this, sparing no effort and enduring all hardships, wishing only for beings to be saved.

Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have no heart or thought; practitioners should emulate their hearts and actions in saving beings.

Beings are boundless, and suffering has no end; the footsteps of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in saving beings also have no end.

The body of Amitabha Buddha, whose body encompasses the entire Dharma Realm, is the Dharma Realm itself;

therefore, every thought and intention of beings, where they are at this moment, and their past, present, and future,

are all fully known.

When the time for salvation arrives, and when causal conditions and spiritual connections manifest, the Buddha immediately appears.

If Dharma affinity is fully matured, then the people of that place and that country

will encounter Buddhas and Bodhisattvas appearing in the world to save beings; this is a great fortune and blessing for beings,

beings receive teachings,

and by listening to sutras and hearing the Dharma, they immediately receive the benefits of the Dharma; practitioners may even reach a time of Awakening.

The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, built by Amitabha Buddha,

has, for ten kalpas, saved immeasurable and boundless beings, bringing them into the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss,

beings do not commit any evils, are forever free from all suffering, and attain Buddhahood in this very life.

This is the supreme grace of Amitabha Buddha towards beings; the salvation of beings has no end.
