Let your actions be like water, flowing with ease and adapting to circumstances. Let your heart be like water, following the Causal Conditions with grace and without resistance. All Goodness must arise from within your heart, manifest in your actions, and be heard in your words. When you live in this way, you align yourself with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
In the cycle of rebirth, it is difficult to maintain control over whether you are stained by impurity or purified by the . If you enter a pure environment, you may find purity; however, if you wander into a place of defilement, you will inevitably be stained. Within the six realms of existence, it is incredibly difficult to be the master of your own destiny. Most beings are driven by their past , and because they cannot master their own hearts and actions, they suffer endlessly. This is why the practice of the Dharma is so vital—it is the only way to save beings from this cycle of suffering.
When you engage in true practice, it acts like pure water, washing away the dust and grime of your past. This process allows your original, pure, and good nature to manifest once more. Many beings feel lost and helpless, wandering through life without a clear direction. They search for a way home but cannot find it, and thus, they let their many lives pass by in a blur of confusion. Finally, in this very life, Namo Amituofo has appeared to us. He manifests here at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre to guide us. You must follow Namo Amituofo closely and never depart from the Buddha. Through your own efforts and the great compassion of the Buddha, you will eventually see your true self and return to your original nature.
The water we speak of is the Dharma water. This Dharma water flows throughout the ten directions of the Dharma Realm. When beings hear this, they will eventually understand the Truth. But what does it mean to truly understand? It means you must see your true self. Once you see your true self, you can subdue the hearts and actions of the demons that lead you astray. The accumulated dust of your past lives is cleansed by this Buddha-water. The demonic heart is transformed into a heart of Goodness, and your pure heart is revealed. This is the essence of the Buddha-water purifying the heart.
Everything in this world is like an illusion; do not become attached to it. Attachment is like layer upon layer of dust covering your true self. When will you be able to extinguish this attachment? When you no longer cling to appearances, equality will manifest. You will finally understand that you have always possessed this nature, and that all beings are essentially Buddhas. The arising and ceasing of Causal Conditions are all illusory appearances, but the state of non-arising and non-ceasing is the absolute Truth. Suffering arises from these illusions. How can you stop the suffering of the cycle of rebirth? You must chant the name of Namo Amituofo. Chant it directly and continuously, without any pause.
Let your heart hold Namo Amituofo, let your eyes see the Buddha, let your ears hear the Buddha, and let your mouth chant the Buddha’s name. Chant Namo Amituofo, and then chant it again. Every single one of us is fundamentally a Buddha. Namo Amituofo.
