The Ruler Within the Heart

Every person carries a metaphorical ruler within their heart. We use this internal measure to evaluate the world around us, and because the standards of this ruler differ from person to person, we each perceive a different world. This is why humanity deeply yearns for a realm that is truly equal, beautiful, and harmonious. I tell you now that this world you seek is right before your eyes; it is the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is a realm constructed entirely through the power of heart, vows, and practice. Within this sacred place, across all four lands and nine grades of rebirth, every being possesses the same inherent qualities. There is no distinction of high or low, good or bad, or rich or poor. Furthermore, there is no division between different species, such as pigs, cows, sheep, or horses. The Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is entirely free from the animal realm.

The Compassion of Practitioner Su

Practitioner Su possesses great compassion. When performing the sacred work of Chao Du to save those trapped in the animal realm, Practitioner Su helps them shed their external forms. This includes:

• Animals of the land
• Insects and small creatures
• Flying and crawling beings
• Sentient beings of the ocean

By removing these external coats, the spirits are restored to their original human form. Once they are restored, they are able to receive the benefits of Chao Du and are given the precious opportunity to chant Namo Amituofo, allowing them to enter the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

The Equality of the Pure Land

Once you have successfully entered the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, you will possess the same auspicious characteristics and dignity as Namo Amituofo. As the teaching master of this Western Land, Namo Amituofo shares everything with you. Whatever the Buddha possesses, you shall also possess. The Buddha provides for you exactly as he provides for himself.

In this realm, your needs are met instantly through the power of your heart:

• Your food and clothing are provided effortlessly
• Your dwelling is magnificent and pure
• Your travel is instantaneous, as you arrive wherever you wish to go simply by thinking of it

The environment is filled with the songs of birds and the fragrance of flowers, and everything is bright, clean, and pure. You will be endowed with infinite Wisdom, virtues, and auspicious characteristics.

An Invitation to All

Such a magnificent place is right before you. You need only join the great assembly and chant Namo Amituofo with a sincere heart. Walk toward the golden light, and you will arrive in the Western Land. To all the sentient beings present, and to the karmic creditors who have spiritual attachments to the bodies of the disciples here, I invite you to come forward. I am here, waiting to welcome you all. Namo Amituofo!
