The image of the extraterrestrial being from the science fiction film E.T. still lingers in the hearts of many people. Though he may have appeared plain or even unappealing to the eye, he possessed a truly kind and gentle heart. In the end, with the blessings and well-wishes of those around him, he departed from this world to return to his original home among the stars. Yet, in the true reality of the universe, the existence of extraterrestrial life is not merely a product of human imagination or cinematic storytelling.

The Boundless Tapestry of Cosmic Life

In the vast, boundless reaches of the cosmos, there truly exist many other planets inhabited by life. These beings possess diverse physical forms, wear varied attire, and exhibit distinct characters, each residing within their own unique planetary systems. Throughout the galaxy, there are countless different life forms, each with their own methods of survival and ways of continuing their existence. However, regardless of their form, all these lives eventually manifest the signs of ageing, decay, and atrophy, eventually disappearing into the vastness of the earth or the depths of space.

The Fragile Dance of Life and Decay

Within these planetary systems, there is both goodness and evil, the old and the young. There are times of peace and security, and there are times of great danger. Many of these worlds face the constant threat of invasion and conquest. Others suffer from the depletion of their vital energy, causing their planets to enter a dark and desolate era. Eventually, these planets may crumble, falling through the heavens like shooting stars, only to vanish into the void of the sky. These difficult situations have persisted for countless, immeasurable days. We have come to understand these realities through the interviews conducted at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre with extraterrestrial beings, as well as through investigations into planets that have been occupied by demon crowds.

The Radiant Compassion That Transcends the Stars

This cycle of suffering continued until one day, the Dharma Body of Practitioner Su entered the Milky Way. He brought with him the radiant Buddha-light and the sacred Buddha-name of Namo Amituofo. The energy contained within this Buddha-light and the Buddha-name provided them with a profound source of strength. This intervention saved countless planets and their inhabitants. Through the power of Chao Du, these beings were guided into the golden light of Amitabha Buddha, allowing them to chant the Buddha's name and attain rebirth in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss.

The Boundless Grace of the Western Land

The energy found within the Buddha-light of Namo Amituofo and the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is inexhaustible and boundless. It is a high-quality, supreme energy that never runs dry. Many beings from various planets frequently come to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre to seek this energy, and their sincere wishes are always fulfilled. This is a manifestation of the boundless, all-encompassing compassion of Amitabha Buddha, who views all beings as one. We must cherish this opportunity to leave suffering behind and find true happiness through the practice of chanting Namo Amituofo all the way.
