This is a record of an interview with the late Wang Yung-tsai, a founder of the Formosa Plastics Group, who sought deliverance and now resides in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. This account was recorded by the disciple Shi Facie on June 15, 2017.
Shi Facie speaks:
"Today, I have invited the founder of the Formosa Plastics Group, Wang Yung-tsai, to provide some teachings to the company."
Wang Yung-tsai speaks:
". To all the directors and all the employees, greetings. I am Wang Yung-tsai. I am here today to report something to you all. I am currently in the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss, and this place is truly magnificent and beautiful. Here, there is no competition, no conflict, and no need to work for the sake of money. Right now, all of you are still creating heavy karmic sins for the sake of wealth."
"The Sixth Naphtha Cracker Plant, the business empire I built with my own hands, brought immense profits to the group and its employees. However, I did not realise at the time that the price paid for such benefits far exceeds the gains we currently enjoy. The benefits of such worldly success are incredibly short-lived, yet the price one must pay for them is enormous. It is not worth it—it is simply not worth it."
"I, Wang Yung-tsai, am here to offer counseling to all the directors and employees. I urge you to come to the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre to investigate for yourselves. Come and discover what it is that human life is ultimately pursuing, or come to verify for yourselves that a human being can truly transcend death. I am waiting here at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre for all of you—directors and employees alike—to come and witness that the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss is right here. Namo Amituofo."
