The Mournful Winds of Karma

The wild wind rises, causing the trees to sway, and the piercing sound of the wind disturbs the hearts of all. These are the echoes of countless grievances arriving on the wind. Countless suffering spirits come forth to voice their past injustices, seeking the resolution they have been denied for lifetimes. Their dishevelled hair scatters in the gale, and among them, female spirits and the souls of infants cry out with deep sorrow and resentment, their hearts heavy with the burdens of their past lives.

The Endless Cycle of Suffering

Perhaps these spirits were once soldiers and warhorses, still battling amidst the dust and wind of ancient conflicts, unable to find rest. Or perhaps they are those who perished in disasters without rescue, including countless earthly creatures and innocent civilians who lost their lives in the chaos of history. The heavy karma created in the past is often forgotten as we change bodies and lives, yet the debt remains. The laws of karma and cause and effect are never empty; these beings come to seek balance because their karmic debts have not yet been resolved.

The Inconceivable Power of Deliverance

Fortunately, Namo Amituofo and Practitioner Su are here, performing the inconceivable Chao Du through the power of the Dharma Body. This sacred work helps these beings restore their original state of Goodness, allowing families to reunite and clear their names of past stains. Through this compassionate intervention, their grievances can finally be resolved, restoring their sense of home and providing the spiritual compensation they seek. Once their suffering is resolved and their hearts are at peace, the resonant sound of the bell guides them into the Dharma-Nature Land.

The Path to the Western Pure Land

By listening to sutras and hearing the Dharma, the sorrows of these spirits begin to dissolve. By making sincere vows and chanting Buddha's name, they gain entry to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Saving and delivering beings happens in every single second; this is the true meaning of the hearts and actions of Namo Amituofo. This is the Fragrant Light mission to save the world, a testament to the boundless compassion that seeks to leave no being behind in the cycle of suffering. We must cherish this opportunity to practise, for every moment is a chance to turn from confusion to awakening.
