The Resonant Power of the Thrice Yearning Ceremony

The Divine Presence at Hsiang Kuang

The Thrice Yearning Ceremony is a profound manifestation of the Dharma. At the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, the spiritual alignment is absolute. Namo Amituofo Himself serves as the true Abbot, guiding the temple with infinite compassion. The great Bodhisattvas, Avalokitesvara and Mahasthamaprapta, act as the managers of this sacred space. When the ceremony commences, the power of the chanting resonates throughout the vastness of the Dharma Realm, shaking the very foundations of the universe.

A Call to All Sentient Beings

Spirits from every corner of existence rush forward, seeking the grace of Chao Du. When they hear the sound of the Dharma, it is as if the heavens themselves are opening. Countless beings from the celestial realms, along with all those connected by karmic affinity throughout the vastness of the Dharma Realm, gather here. By receiving the benefits of this practice, they increase their wisdom and find the path to the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land and the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Upon arriving there, they behold Namo Amituofo and see all their heartfelt wishes fulfilled.

The Danger of a Selfish Heart

However, one must be cautious. If a practitioner harbours a selfish heart while standing in the Buddha-land, the spirits will surely perceive it, and that person will find no peace. How can one endure the shaking of the heart and body that comes from such internal discord? One must turn back quickly to save one's own life and purify one's intentions. The karmic debts we owe are natural and must be addressed, but Practitioner Su, with boundless compassion, takes upon himself the suffering of the masses to help us find our way.

Awakening and Liberation

Practitioner Su works to shake awake those spirits who are lost in deep, lingering sorrow. Within the purity of the Dharma-Nature Land, they listen to the teachings of the Buddha, finally resolving the grievances and hatreds that have been accumulated over countless aeons. By sincerely chanting the six-character name of Namo Amituofo, we all find our way together into the compassionate embrace of Namo Amituofo. This is the path to true liberation.
