Namo Amituofo's discourse:
The golden light of the Buddha shines upon all beings, shattering the darkness of ignorance, cleansing deep-seated stains, and those who have long been lost in confusion.
The energy contained within this golden light is capable of replenishing the strength of beings and healing the deficiencies of and spirit. However, for this light to truly transform you, you must be able to receive it. The Buddha-light shines equally upon every being without discrimination or preference. Yet, the crucial question remains: do you truly have faith in the Buddha?
When you possess true faith, you will deeply feel the presence of the Buddha-light. When your heart is in sync with the Buddha-vows and the immense power contained within that light, it can achieve its greatest effect. It becomes a catalyst for your spiritual growth, guiding you toward the Right Way.
Conversely, those who do not believe, or who remain half-believing and half-doubting, will find that even if they feel the presence of the light, their lack of faith acts as an impenetrable barrier. Because your heart is closed by doubt, you keep the Buddha-light outside of your heart, and thus it cannot manifest its full potential or bring about the purification you seek.
Those who are hesitant should continue their purification and engage in diligent practice. You must work to remove your doubts and cultivate true, unwavering faith. Only then will you be able to receive the full benefits of the Buddha-light. This is especially vital for the students of Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Namo Amituofo is here, and the light is shining continuously, 24/7. You must truly change your ways and engage in diligent practice. If you do this, you will have the opportunity to achieve success in your practice and finally become an awakened being. Namo Amituofo.
