A place of true purity must be built upon a foundation of pure causes. It is not merely a physical space, but a spiritual environment cultivated through intentional, wholesome actions. Within such an environment, goodness permeates every corner. This goodness is manifested through our thoughts, our speech, and our actions, ensuring that they remain untainted by the shadows of negativity. When we reside in this state of purity, we naturally move away from evil thoughts, refrain from harsh or harmful speech, and cease all unwholesome actions.
In this sanctuary, every encounter is an opportunity to share kindness. We greet one another with a gentle smile, and our primary greeting is the sacred name of . When we offer this greeting, the other person responds in kind, creating a resonance of peace. Even if an individual has had no prior connection to the , the moment they hear the six-character name of Namo Amituofo, a is planted within them.
A place of purity possesses a unique, transformative power. When people and various spirits enter this space, they immediately feel a profound sense of inner peace and stability. This is the power of purification, which gently captures and settles the human heart. When you practise in such a place, you are under the compassionate care of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and the Dragon and Heaven Dharma Protectors. The Buddha-light shines everywhere, illuminating the darkness of the mind.
Spirits from the spiritual realms often feel this energy directly. They perceive the natural, radiant energy of the Buddha-light and the power of purification. As a result, their spiritual state is elevated, and they find a sense of tranquillity, satisfaction, and that they may have lacked for a long time.
Practising in a place of purity allows you to wash away the stains of past and achieve deep purification. Therefore, you must be active and persistent in your practice. Through this dedication, you can resolve conflicts with your ancestors, teachers, and , and invite these spirits to receive . By maintaining the recitation of the Buddha-name 24/7, you allow your body, mind, and spirit to be completely immersed in the name of Namo Amituofo.
As you maintain this practice, you will remain clear and aware of the external world, yet undisturbed by it. Your Six Roots will become pure, and your natural wisdom will manifest. Through continuous purification and diligent practice, you will eventually see your true self. Naturally, your family members and ancestors from this life and past lives will be saved, and they will be led by the Buddha to the Western Land of Ultimate Bliss. Namo Amituofo.
