The Boundless Nature of Reality

The Dharma is boundless, the heart is infinite, and the multitude of beings is endless; yet, in their original state, all is emptiness. This emptiness is not a void of nothingness, but the pure, unconditioned state from which all phenomena arise.

The Trap of Attachment

Once you enter the realm of being, you lose the clarity of that original emptiness. Everything that exists within the cycle of rebirth is impermanent and finite, whereas the state of emptiness is infinite. When you abandon your immediate, sincere heart to chase after distant worldly connections, or forsake the heart of emptiness, suffering inevitably arises. This is the root of our wandering in samsara.

The Cycle of Cause and Effect

If there is a connection between beings, there must be a cause, and from that cause, a result will surely follow. By accepting these karmic fruits, one remains trapped in the cycle of rebirth. To break free, you must awaken to the truth and cultivate your original nature. By looking within at this very moment, you can perceive your original face—the true self that exists beyond the illusions of the material world.

Returning to the Source

When the heart is truly at ease and free from the burdens of attachment, it returns to the vast, tranquil void. This is the ultimate goal of our practice at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. We strive to leave suffering behind and find true happiness by aligning ourselves with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. May all beings realise their true nature and find peace in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
