From Nothingness Arise Myriad Phenomena; When the Buddha's Name is Invoked, All Beings Follow

On the sixth of September, 2017, a disciple asked for guidance, saying, 'Namo Amituofo. The heart of a Buddha or is one of boundless and equality, seeing all beings as one. Please, Buddha, grant us your compassionate teachings.'
Namo Amituofo responded with these words: Whether you are a stranger or an acquaintance, whether you have met in this life or in the distant past, there is always a karmic connection. Even after one drinks Meng Po’s soup and forgets the past, the connection remains. You may think there is no connection, but in truth, the bond is deep and enduring. Though our physical forms may differ, our spirits are one. We share the same true self. When you see another suffering, do not distinguish between 'you' and 'me.' If they are in pain, work to help them leave suffering behind and find happiness. This is the path of the enlightened.
Each of you must exert your own strength and practise with diligence. The depth of your wisdom and the breadth of your compassion depend entirely on the size of your heart. You can save as many beings as you have karmic affinity with. From the beginningless past until now, you have been sinking in the cycle of rebirth, surrounded by . You have had countless connections—some good, some evil, some emotional, and some based on the . These connections are infinite and without boundary. Perhaps in a past life, you were harmed, or perhaps you were the one who caused confusion. You have been loving family members, growing old together, and gathering in harmony to end your lives in peace. Yet, you have also been violent, perhaps as corrupt officials who exploited the people, or as those who sought profit through cruelty and the destruction of others' lives. You have known the of killing, the trade of poisons, and the loss of human conscience for the sake of greed. You have also known the desperation of the beggar on the street, reaching out for help that never comes, feeling as though there is no place for you in this world. You have been kings and generals, issuing commands that sent countless souls to perish on the battlefield, leaving innocent civilians to suffer the consequences. All these past events are countless, yet they are all recorded in your . Nothing is ever lost, and nothing is ever truly gained.
All these experiences are like illusions; they are all 'nothingness.' They are merely things that once were. They exist only because you have and because you hold onto thoughts. As long as your consciousness and your thoughts remain, you perceive these things as 'real.' But how do you reach the state of 'nothingness'? It is when, in this very moment, you have no thoughts and no consciousness. When both thoughts and consciousness are absent, you enter the state of emptiness. In this state, there is nothing to grasp. All that exists is the present moment. This is the natural way of things. You act without the burden of 'doing.' There is no past, no future, and no present to cling to. You simply eat when it is time to eat, wear clothes when it is time to be clothed, sleep when it is time to sleep, and walk when it is time to walk. This is what we call being at ease, and it is also the state of true coolness and clarity.
However, when the conditions are ripe to teach beings, one must observe their capacity and act accordingly. This involves both physical and verbal teachings. Depending on the situation, the Buddha may manifest in various ways: sometimes with a stern shout, sometimes with a look of helplessness, sometimes with a fierce gaze to stop a wrong action, and sometimes with the warmth of Compassion, Joy, and Selfless Giving, with a face full of smiles, radiating golden light, and spreading the fragrance of virtue. No matter the form, these are all manifestations for the sake of beings, and all can lead to the manifestation of wisdom. Yet, through it all, the Buddha never leaves his original position. He remains 'unmoved.' He is not swayed by the external world, for his true self is always in a state of eternal joy, true self, and purity. This is the state of 'doing without doing,' of 'acting without acting,' and of 'thinking without thinking.' You are always in a state of no-thought, yet you are always acting for the sake of all beings. You act for them, you walk for them, you think for them, and you speak for them. This is the true meaning of 'nothingness'—it is the ultimate expression of compassion. Namo Amituofo.
