During the first session of the , we reflect upon the profound nature of the Buddha's power. The power of the Buddha does not exist in a vacuum; it manifests precisely within the strength of your own efforts. This is the fundamental secret of the path. It is a sacred partnership between the practitioner and the Buddha.
If you do not first take the initiative to step forward and exert your own will, it is incredibly difficult for the Buddha to apply His power to your life. You must be the one to open the door. Without your active participation, the Buddha can only watch from the sidelines, sighing with for your continued suffering. The principle is simple yet profound: the degree of Buddha's you receive is exactly proportional to the effort you put into your practice. If you give one part of effort, you receive one part of blessing.
The power of the Buddha is not abstract; it manifests in tangible ways that support your journey toward liberation. These blessings appear through:
