The Path to True Awakening

The Illusion of Our World

When we finally wake from the long dream of reincarnation, we perceive the ultimate reality. This reality is entirely free from the illusions that bind us. The world we inhabit is an illusion, and the very dimensions of space that define our physical existence are also illusory. It is profoundly difficult to escape these constraints on our own, as we are often trapped by the very perceptions we trust.

The Power of Realising One's True Nature

Yet, when one achieves Awakening within this human world, one realises their true self and the Dharma Body. This realisation allows one to transcend the limitations of space. By doing so, one gains the capacity to save those still trapped within the illusion. Only when beings are liberated from the constraints of space can they truly leave behind the suffering born of these illusions.

The Attributes of True Awakening

Finding your true self is the only path to true Awakening. What does it mean to be truly awake? It means to embody the following qualities:

• Realising the Dharma Body:
• You transcend the reach of ageing and sickness, finally breaking free from the heavy burden of the cycle of reincarnation.Clarity of Mind:
• You no longer fall into the traps of confusion, and you possess the strength to emerge from any state of delusion.Unwavering Stillness:
• You attain a state of deep peace and wisdom, remaining unmoved by the shifting circumstances of the world.Diligent Practice:
• You serve others without fatigue and never cease in your efforts to save all beings.The Great Vow:
• You vow to seek rebirth in the Western Pure Land, knowing with absolute certainty that your spirit never dies.Eternal Silence: You enter the state of indestructible peace, where you attain the everlasting truth.
