Selfishness is Suffering
To save others, one must first save oneself. This encompasses three essential levels: saving oneself, saving all beings, and saving one's family members. Everything begins with the act of self-rescue. Only when your practice reaches a level of true achievement, and you have realised your true nature, can you effectively save others. Your family members are also among the vast multitude of beings; they are equally the objects of your compassionate salvation.
In the state of oneness, there is no one who cannot be saved. The righteous path is one of equality, where there is no high or low, no superior or inferior. This is the true meaning of oneness. Those who are natural and pure can manifest the actions of this state of oneness. By entering this state of , one can realise their true nature and attain Buddhahood. This is the ultimate goal of our practice.
The key to saving oneself is to distance oneself from all forms of defilement. You must purify your body, heart, and mind. Use the to purify your heart, use meditative concentration to purify your body, and use Wisdom to purify your intentions. When you enter the state of no-mind, you have truly saved yourself. When you are completely pure and free from all defilements, you enter a state of pure Goodness. In this state, you will see your true self.
Those who have realised their true nature have their Six Roots fully opened. They can know, understand, and perceive clearly. When the eyes are pure, they open to see all the laws of the world and the myriad phenomena, both visible and invisible. They can perceive the problems of others and understand the circumstances of all beings. By integrating and Wisdom, they can offer true salvation. May we all strive to reach this state, moving from confusion to awakening, from wrong paths to the righteous path, and from impurity to purity. .
