The Buddha’s teachings are a path of alignment with the ultimate Truth. To follow the heart is to adjust one's mind so that it remains in perfect harmony with this Truth. When you follow the heart, you find balance; when you are balanced, you find peace; and when you are at peace, you find true stillness.
This state of stillness is the foundation of body-mind-spirit purification. Through this, you enter a profound state of no-delusion, no-selfishness, and . This is the gateway to , where the mind is no longer clouded by the turbulence of the world.
How does one truly follow the heart? It begins with your daily practice. You must put in the work to change your personality traits, the "self," personal ego, and selfishness. This is the area where you must focus your diligent practice. You must learn to see through and let go of all attachments; do not hold on tightly to the things of this world, for they are but passing shadows.
Embrace the practice of , , and Selfless Giving. When your six roots are pure, they begin to function in alignment with your true self. When your roots are in sync with your true self, your potential becomes infinite, and your wisdom shines forth without obstruction.
