If there is karmic affinity, it will naturally arrive in your life. If there is no affinity, it will drift away to the ends of the earth. Whether we have affinity or not, we are all connected by a single, invisible thread. These threads link us together, heart to heart, and when they tangle, they form the collective karma that shapes our existence.

The Trap of Emotional Entanglements

You must not let emotional entanglements bind you to this world. Instead, you should seek the Dharma affinity that can truly save you. Who can truly recognise another amidst these tangled threads? We all come and go as individuals, wandering through the cycle of rebirth alone. Today, you may possess a human form, but in the future, you might inhabit the body of a pig, a sheep, a cat, or a dog. The form you take depends entirely on the seeds you plant today.

The Consequences of Desire

If you find it difficult to break your desire for meat, you must reflect deeply on the truth of your actions. The flesh you consume may have once been your own parents in a past life. You swallow it, thinking it is delicious, but you do not hear the cries of the suffering beings. When you call out to the heavens in your own time of need, no one may answer. In your next life, what form will you take? Where will you go? When will you ever be reunited with your true nature?

The Path to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss

If you are fortunate enough to encounter Namo Amituofo, you must chant the Buddha's name with sincerity. Follow Him, and you will enter the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. There, you will be reborn, shedding your old form to attain a Buddha's body. We shall all gather together in the Land of Lotuses, free from the suffering of the six realms.
