The Light of Awakening

The Stillness of the True Nature

Life often feels like a tumultuous storm, intense and overwhelming in a single moment. Yet, in the very next instant, it can be as still and calm as a lake without a single ripple. This is the essence of Awakening—to see the brilliant light of truth. It is the act of breaking through the fog of confusion to realise the awakened being in this very moment. When the emptiness of your nature is clear and pure, it manifests with great courage. This is the true sign of success in your spiritual practice, for when you can see all things with absolute clarity, you have reached a state of profound stillness. This stillness is the true appearance of Wisdom (Prajna).

The Resonance of Awakening

In the state of pure, unburdened stillness, a single sound resonates. It echoes across the heavens and awakens all spirits. Upon Awakening and realising the awakened being, you are astonished to behold the Buddha. All spirits rejoice together, protected by the Buddhas. This path rescues all beings from suffering and leads them away from the darkness. By travelling to the other shore, you find the vitality of life. This is the manifestation of the Buddha from the Western Pure Land.

Returning to the Original State

Purity and Goodness are your original, true nature. Impurity and evil are merely later additions that have clouded your spirit. You must turn away from them and cast off the body of confusion. By doing so, you will finally be able to enter the land of cool, refreshing peace. This is the most magnificent practice of this life, and it is the way to ensure your return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
