The Buddha-name arises; it never ceases. This is the foundation of our practice at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre. Within the heart lies the true heart; within the spirit lies the true spirit. This boundless heart remains forever unmoved, regardless of the changing circumstances of the world. In a single, fleeting instant, there is infinite meaning to be realised by the practitioner.
Yet, we often find ourselves biased, leaning toward our own attachments and desires. Where, then, is true perfection? Where is the seed of the Buddha within the seed of our own ? We search everywhere, but it cannot be found in the external world. We must learn to let it come and go as it pleases, without grasping or clinging to the phenomena of the world.
We search for its trace in the distance, yet we always find a sense of imperfection. What is the cause of this? The answer is simple: when the heart is nowhere—when it is free from attachment and the illusion of a self—that is the answer. This is the path to .
