For a long time, the earth had been dry, and we looked upward, sighing as our prayers for rain seemed to go unanswered. The land was parched, and the mountains were scorched by relentless fires. Countless creatures lost their lives in the flames, and the suffering of all sentient beings was immense. The need for water became a desperate, collective cry from every living thing.

The Power of United Intent

Practitioner Su, manifesting in his pure Dharma Body, led the salvation team in a mission of mercy. With every sincere recitation of the Buddha-name of Namo Amituofo, they called out to the heavens. Their hearts were united in a single, earnest purpose, and their sincerity was absolute. They appealed to the Jade Emperor, and the Dragon Kings of the Four Seas gathered to deliberate on the request. Because their petition was in perfect harmony with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, the heavens responded with compassion.

The Miracle of Falling Rain

Rain began to fall, drop by drop, bringing immense joy to both the living and the spirits in the unseen realms. The salvation team has been travelling across the globe, their chanting of Namo Amituofo resonating through the vast Dharma Realm. This spiritual intervention helped resolve the severe drought in Australia and serves as a beacon of hope for the Earth to return to its proper path. Today, as rain falls over the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, we continue to work in alignment with the Jade Emperor to maintain this balance.
