The Flickering Shadows of the Human World

In the human world, light sources depend entirely on the stability of external power supplies, fluctuating between darkness and brightness. This is the nature of the constant changes of the world, where nothing remains fixed. We often find ourselves tethered to these external conditions, which are inherently unreliable and subject to the laws of impermanence.

The character of people is similarly impermanent. We are constantly swayed by our internal states and the external environment, tossed about by the shifting tides of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness. Because our hearts are not settled, the light we emit is often grey, dim, and illusory. We are like flickering flames in a storm, unable to maintain a steady radiance because we have not yet discovered the source of true, unchanging light within ourselves.

The Radiance of the Awakened Being

Only those who have realised their true nature possess a heart that remains constant, entirely unaffected by any internal or external influences. They possess an eternal light of the heart—a radiance that shines without effort, illuminating even the darkest corners where no other light can reach. While this physical body has an end, this light is infinite and boundless.

Wherever those who possess this light travel, those in the human world whose eyes have not yet opened cannot perceive it. However, those whose eyes have opened or whose space has been opened can witness this radiance. The path taken by this light forms a unique energy field, and sentient beings can feel deeply satisfied, joyful, and at peace simply by witnessing this light.

Purifying the Spirit Towards Enlightenment

Everyone, you must use Wisdom (Prajna), compassion, and mind-capacity to purify and elevate your spirituality. As you diligently practise these virtues, your own energy field of light will also rise, becoming deeper, wider, and more luminous. Continue this path with unwavering dedication until you reach the state of an awakened being and manifest the eternal light of the heart.
