Many people who study and chant Buddha's name lose their way at the final moment. They fail to reach the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss because their karma has not been fully transformed. They follow the pull of their past actions and fail to achieve their wish for rebirth. This is why consistent practice is so vital; we must transform our karma while we still have the time and the opportunity.

A Collective Mission

To propagate the Pure Land teachings widely, the fourfold assembly must work together. We must help more beings become an awakened being in this life, so they may successfully be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
