This article records an interview with Venerable Chang Gao regarding the profound insights gained during a deliverance session at the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre in Australia. The session, which took place on February 19, 2023, was documented by the chief writer, Shi Fajing.
Venerable Chang Gao speaks:
". A single recitation of the holy name 'Namo Amituofo' can traverse countless layers of space. In the Body deliverance performed by Practitioner Su, this holy name is absolutely indispensable. The power of this Buddha-name is immeasurable and boundless; it not only pierces through infinitely layered spaces but also possesses the immense energy required to help spirits break free from these confined dimensions.
Most people in this world have yet to realise the magnificence of this Buddha-name. They do not understand that a single recitation can save immeasurable and boundless beings, including themselves. If they could truly grasp the significance of this holy name, I believe many would be willing to keep the Buddha-name in their hearts, saving not only themselves but also the many spirits residing within their own bodies.
The Hidden Dimensions of a Tiny Life
How vast is the space within an ant? To the physical eyes, an ant is so incredibly small. But when the Buddha-light shines down and the Buddha-name opens the space within the ant, viewed from the perspective of the spiritual realm, it is no longer just the size of a single insect.
Today, during the Dharma Body deliverance conducted by Practitioner Su, I wish to share with everyone what I witnessed regarding these 'ant' spaces. Regardless of which country you are in on this Earth, you can see ants. They are insects that are truly everywhere. Today, as the Dharma Body deliverance took place on the soil of Australia, I saw that this land contains an immeasurable and boundless number of ant spirits. If humans could truly see the total number of ants within the earth, they would be absolutely astonished.

The Buddha-light illuminated the entire landscape. Many of the spaces within the earth were opened, including the massive ant colonies and tunnels hidden deep underground. They were all bathed in the Buddha-light, and consequently, the spaces within many of these ants were opened simultaneously.
I noticed one ant with its head held high. It was looking around, staring intently at the Buddha-light. I saw clearly that within this ant’s body, there existed a spirit. This spirit was not yet fully awake; he was in the process of being purified by the Buddha-light and the chanting of the Buddha-name. Just as this spirit began to emerge from the ant’s body, I knew he had largely regained . I asked him, 'Do you know that you have entered the space of an ant?' The spirit, who appeared as a tall man, replied, 'I did not know before, but I know now.' He still looked somewhat bewildered; although he was awake, he did not yet understand what he was doing.
A Lifetime of Memories Unlocked
The sound of the Buddha-name continued to purify the man’s spirit, along with all the ant spirits in the surrounding area. Seeing him become clearer, he said to me, 'I never imagined that so much time had passed.' I asked, 'What did you see?' He replied, 'Just now, as the Buddha-light shone upon me, I first saw myself living the life of an ant, day after day. Then, it quickly connected to my previous life. I remembered that I was a salesman, busy with work every day just to support my family of five. When I thought of my three children, the connection suddenly broke. I could not find them; I could not reach their current location in space. But as the Buddha-light continued to purify me, I saw my life before that, and many lives before that, one by one, all floating before my eyes. They were all connected to me, and all these memories and spaces had followed me into the space of the ant.'
I nodded. The man was absolutely correct. Indeed, under the illumination of the Buddha-light, his spaces were constantly being opened and awakened. Only at the very end did he wake up from those many layers of space, realising that he had entered the ant realm and had become an ant busy carrying food.
The Boundless of Namo Amituofo
The man wept bitterly. He thanked Practitioner Su incessantly for bringing the golden light that helped him escape the ant realm. There are so many ants, and every single one has its own space. The space within the ant’s body contains the memories of past lives, all of which followed his spirit into the ant’s form. When the Buddha-light shines down, it saves countless souls who have become ants, helping them find liberation and escape.
A single recitation of 'Namo Amituofo' saves an uncountable number of spirits. It is not just the ant spaces; immeasurable spaces can obtain deliverance. I am still learning, learning how to open these spaces further so that I may see even deeper and broader dimensions, following in the footsteps of Practitioner Su to save more beings from suffering.
