The Geometry of the Spirit

The Buddha’s teachings speak of completeness. To achieve perfect accomplishment and to exist in a state of unobstructed harmony, one must possess both the understanding of the Truth and the practical application of the Dharma. Consider the nature of a circle: its beginning is a single point. If you look closely, the point where the circle begins is also the very point where it ends. Regardless of the path taken after departing from this starting point—whether the journey forms a small circle, a vast circle, a straight line, or a jagged angle—and regardless of how the lines and planes may twist and orbit, one must eventually return to the end. To be truly complete, the end must reconnect with the beginning.

This single point represents the spirit of every living being. When you depart from your origin, if you are fortunate enough to encounter the Pure Land path, you receive a precious gift: the Holy Name, "Namo Amituofo." This is the Bodhi Vajra Seed. Once this seed enters your ear, it becomes a permanent seed of the Buddha’s path. No matter how many aeons you may traverse, this seed will never be destroyed. It ensures that, in the fullness of time, you will eventually attain Bodhi and become a Buddha.

The Indestructible Seed of Awakening

Therefore, it does not matter how long your spirit wanders before returning to the end, nor does it matter what processes you must undergo. Even if you are caught in the cycle of the six realms of existence, drifting endlessly through this world or others, you will always have the opportunity to encounter the Pure Land again. You will eventually reach the moment of awakening, attain Buddhahood, and complete your practice. This is the supreme grace bestowed upon all beings by Amitabha Buddha, whose body encompasses the entire Dharma Realm, through the gift of the Holy Name, "Namo Amituofo."

A Call to the Students of Hsiang Kuang

The grace of the Buddha is vast and difficult to repay. The question remains for the students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre: in this very lifetime, will you be able to return to the end? Will you realise your true nature, attain Buddhahood, and bring your practice to its perfect conclusion? This depends entirely on your heart and your commitment to Faith, Vows, and Practice. You must cherish this moment and use it wisely. Do not let this opportunity slip away, for the path to the Western Pure Land is open to all who sincerely seek it.
