In the Midst of the Suffering of the Saha World, Only Fragrant Light is a Ray of Hope
There are countless spaces within the universe, and within these spaces, there are countless spirit realm beings. These beings permeate the ten directions and the entirety of space, existing in layers upon layers of reality. Because these spaces overlap, those who have opened up their spiritual space must be even more diligent in their speech and actions. You must maintain correct knowledge and correct thoughts at all times.
When your spiritual space is opened, you become capable of receiving the energy of many more thoughts and intentions—both good and evil—than you were before. Consequently, the number of spirit realm beings you attract will also increase accordingly. It is vital to understand that the thoughts and behaviours of these beings will directly influence your own body, mind, and spirit.
If the thoughts and behaviours of the beings you encounter are positive, they will not cause you harm. For example, the protectors and Bodhisattvas of the spirit realm are benevolent. They work to protect people from the interference of external spirits or from such spirits entering their physical bodies. However, if a spirit enters your body and becomes an attached spirit, it will often cause significant burdens and functional obstacles, leading to premature ageing or illness.
If you have opened up your space, your physical constitution will become highly sensitive. You may find that the movements of spirit realm beings become a part of your daily life, often manifesting as physical sensations such as dizziness. During these times, it is even more critical that you maintain correct knowledge and correct thoughts.
If you react to these sensations with resistance, displeasure, anger, or other negative emotions and behaviours, you will only attract more interference. This will cause the duration of your dizziness to extend, and it may even lead to the spirit entering your body and becoming an attached spirit. This process often results in:
The most common sign of this interference is a persistent feeling of being drowsy. You may find yourself feeling drowsy in many different situations, especially when you harbour negative thoughts or when your manifests and come to seek revenge.
When you find yourself in such a state, the most effective method is to immediately raise the Buddha-name. The Buddha-name is the most powerful protective amulet you can possess. When you chant with a sincere, honest, and respectful heart, it can protect you from the interference of attached spirits or cause those spirits to retreat.
For the students of Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre who possess this sensitive constitution, or who have increased their sensitivity through the process of purification, experiencing frequent dizziness can be a source of fear and worry. If you find yourself in this situation, you must:
By doing so, you will be able to help yourself navigate through this stage of dizziness and emerge stronger.
If you can nurture compassion, diligently practise the , Concentration and Wisdom, serve others, maintain a joyful countenance, and focus on thinking, seeing, and speaking only of what is good, you will naturally increase your positive behaviours. This will allow you to receive the protection of the Dharma protectors of the spirit realm, thereby reducing the likelihood of spiritual attachment and the manifestation of heavy karma.
When you combine this with the process of purification and the elevation of your spiritual sensitivity, you will find that you can reduce instances of dizziness and significantly elevate the quality of your spirit. This is the true sign that your practice is making steady progress. Namo Amituofo.
