Where does suffering originate? It arises from the heart and . It is not something that comes from the outside; rather, it is generated from within. It stems from our thoughts, our contemplations, our of self and others, and our constant cycle of discriminations and attachments. Because we do not see the truth, we allow these internal states to manifest as external suffering.
Since suffering arises from the heart, it must be resolved by the heart. There is no other way to achieve true liberation. You must engage in diligent practice and put in the work with a sincere heart. You must regulate your heart and your thoughts. Do not dwell on idle thoughts, do not engage in discriminations, and do not hold onto attachments. These are all one entity; there is no distinction between self and others. When you let go of these, you return to your original nature.
The Buddha’s teachings are to be sought within your own heart. If you seek the outside of your heart, you will find no true Dharma. Consider the stages of life and the critical importance of encountering the Buddha:
