Quickly Turn Back: Teachings on the Spirit and Repentance

The Nature of the Wandering Spirit

My dear children, the spirit is composed of the soul and the physical essence. When the spirit is led out of the body by beings and becomes drowsy, entering space, it loses its autonomy and becomes lost in direction, wandering straight ahead, moving further and further away from the body. When you hear the call of the compassionate Father and Practitioner Su, the soul and physical essence must quickly turn back to enter the body, regaining clarity and awakening.

Do you know that many souls are trapped in space, suffering because they cannot return to their bodies?

The Roots of Spiritual Confusion

Why is the spirit led out of the body by beings, becoming drowsy and entering space? It is because the spirit is deluded and confused, still having attachments, unable to forget people and matters that are hard to forget, still having things not seen through, unable to let go of matters that are hard to release, having a self, still having attachments to people and matters weighing on the heart; only then will the spirit be led, unable to be autonomous, becoming drowsy and entering space.

The Responsibility of the Practitioner

My dear children, because you have failed to shoulder and accept the responsibilities entrusted by the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, there are behaviours of retreating, avoiding, failing to face, failing to uphold the Precepts, and failing to follow the rules; these fluctuations have attracted beings to manifest. Every single one is a situation that beings can use to lead the spirit out of the body, causing frequent states of drowsiness and entering space. You must quickly turn back, let go, and quickly repent, change your ways; only then will there be a time to return to your original state.

The Path of Return

My dear children, walking the wrong path is not to be feared, as long as you can turn back; the Buddha and Practitioner Su are always here waiting. As long as you children are willing to turn back, willing to quickly repent, change your ways, please return quickly. Even if covered in wounds, as long as this body is still here, this spirit can be called back. Please diligently chant Buddha's name, washing away the dust and filth from your body. Please believe in the Buddha, and believe in yourself.

Please quickly turn back. Before transforming karma, impermanence arrives at any time; when the breath stops, life ends, then everything returns to nothingness, with no such person and no such name in the human world. At this time, where does the spirit go? Fortunately, Practitioner Su is here, able to seek the spirit, send the spirit, and protect the spirit to enter the Dharma-Nature Land; if Practitioner Su were not here, where would this spirit fall? Namo Amituofo.
