Pure and Good: The Path to Awakening

The Unblemished Nature of the Heart

To be pure is to be without stain. To be clean is to be without flaw. To be good is to be without evil. When one attains this state of pure and good, the seeds of karma have no origin from which to sprout, and the fruits of karmic retribution have no place to manifest. In this state, one is truly pure and at ease, living in a condition of absolute freedom.

This state of pure and good originates within the heart. It is born from the depths of the mind. As the saying goes, Appearance arises from the mind. When your heart is pure and good, your external appearance will naturally reflect that inner clarity. There is no trace of turbidity, only the gentle, auspicious harmony of a heart that has found its true home.

The Radiance of Awakening

There is nothing to be unhappy about, for everything is clearly understood and perfectly illuminated. This state is not something you need to acquire from afar; it has always been present within you, manifesting naturally when the obstacles of the ego are removed. This is what it means to be an awakened being. It is a matter of your own heart, a personal journey that no one else can walk for you. You cannot find this truth by searching in the external world, for it is already within your own nature.

The Vow to Save All Beings

While we walk in this world, our purpose is to help others leave suffering behind. The Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is the ultimate realm of purity and goodness. By holding firmly to the sacred name of Namo Amituofo, you align yourself with the vows and actions of Amitabha. Through this practice, you enter into a state where you are no longer bound by suffering, and you wait with compassion for all other beings to join you in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is the path of the Bodhisattva, the path of infinite love and boundless light.
