Those who have realised their true nature continue to save beings every single day without pause. Their capacity for performing improves and prospers day by day. If those who have already attained such a state remain so diligent, what should those who have not yet realised their true nature, and the fourfold assembly, do? You must be even more active and persistent, striving to learn and catch up with them.
Practice is a deeply personal matter. Realising one's true nature is a milestone that no one can achieve on your behalf. It truly requires you to rely on your own genuine, solid, and sincere efforts. When your awareness and understanding of the begin to arise, you must be active and persistent, advancing on all fronts simultaneously. By diligently correcting your latent habits or bad character traits, you will find yourself drawing closer and closer to the moment of realising your true nature.
The closer you draw to the time of , the more careful and cautious you must be. You must not violate the . If you fail to maintain this discipline, you will not only distance yourself from Awakening in this life, but you will also suffer the sanctions of the world and the intense torment of your own heart. Furthermore, you will face the punishment of the hells. This is truly a path of suffering that you must avoid at all costs.
A practitioner who can make a straightforward advance and prosper day by day in their practice must possess qualities that are worthy of your study. This is especially true for those who have realised their true nature. Their progress indicates that their heart, vows, actions, and conduct are in perfect harmony with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. If you can follow this path and sincerely seek the Dharma, you will certainly gain much.
