At the Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre, we are blessed by the fact that Namo Amituofo truly abides here. This is not merely a physical location; it is a living, breathing sanctuary of light and grace. Because Namo Amituofo is present, the centre possesses the unique capacity to assist sentient beings throughout the entire Realm. When these beings chant the name of the Buddha, they are immediately guided by the Buddha-light, allowing them to either be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss or to attain a favourable rebirth within the heavenly or human realms.
Furthermore, this sacred presence provides essential support to the residing within the bodies of our practitioners. Through the illumination of the Buddha-light, their accumulated negative is cleansed, and their seeds of Goodness are nurtured. They are able to accept the resolution of their grievances, receive the benefits of , and ultimately find their way to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss or other favourable realms. This is truly the practical manifestation of Namo Amituofo descending into this world to save all beings, offering them the most profound and tangible benefits.
A Universal Scope of Salvation
The of Namo Amituofo knows no bounds. The beings who are saved through this centre are diverse and numerous, including:
Demonic forces that have surrendered and been subdued by the power of the Dharma.
Countless spirits from the six realms of existence and the four categories of sages, saved by the of Practitioner Su.
Sentient beings throughout the vastness of the Dharma Realm and the entire Milky Way.
The smallest creatures of the earth, including insects, flowers, trees, and plants.
Animals of all kinds, such as livestock, poultry, fish, crustaceans, and marine life.
All of these beings share a common history: at some point in their past, they heard the name of Namo Amituofo and planted the within their ear-roots. Perhaps they once chanted the Buddha's name and made a vow to be reborn in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, yet they were unable to fulfil that wish at the time. Even those who were once monastics practising the Pure Land Dharma Gate, or sages who descended from the Western Pure Land to save others but became lost in the ocean of karma, are now being sought out. Namo Amituofo has descended into this world specifically to rescue these beings and lead them back to the West. How truly compassionate our Buddha is!
