In the vast expanse of the universe and the infinite void, there exist countless truths and realities that remain unknown, misunderstood, or unheard of by humanity. Because our current perception is limited, we must approach our learning with a humble and modest heart. It is only through this state of humility that we can truly open ourselves to the wisdom of the path and continue moving forward.
When you receive guidance from your predecessors, you must keep deep gratitude in your heart. It is vital to realise that nothing in this life is something you are simply entitled to. Everything we possess and every opportunity we have to practise has been passed down through the immense and selfless dedication of those who came before us. Therefore, you must always keep gratitude in your heart, rather than viewing these precious gifts as something that is yours by right or as something to be taken for granted.
As you move forward, you must also lead the fourfold assembly to move forward together. Your individual progress is not an isolated event; it has the power to inspire and drive the entire community to advance in unison. Everything proceeds naturally, ensuring that your personal growth becomes the growth of everyone. When you rejoice in the progress of others, you are demonstrating the expansion of your own mind-capacity.
Whether it is individual effort or the collective effort of the group, we must constantly evoke the heart that once worked together in harmony. This shared intention is the foundation of our practice. Even if you stumble or fall during the process of moving forward, do not be discouraged. You can always stand up, dust yourself off, and continue your journey with renewed vigour.
Practice is, in essence, the act of moving forward. In the process of this forward movement, you must come to understand that you and the community are one. There is no separation between the individual and the whole. Moving forward within this state of oneness is the true path of an awakened being. It is a journey of constant purification, where every step taken in harmony with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way brings us closer to our original nature.
