In the Midst of the Suffering of the Saha World, Only Fragrant Light is a Ray of Hope
Our physical eyes provide us with a limited view of reality. We perceive only what is immediately before us, yet those who have opened their inner vision, or those who can perceive the realm of spirits, understand that the truth of existence is far more vast. Much of what constitutes our reality can be described as infinitely layered and countless in number. The spaces that exist throughout the universe are not merely the one, two, or three dimensions that we are accustomed to in our daily lives. There are countless dimensions, extending far beyond the dozens that some might theorise. Within these infinite spaces, there exist infinite beings.
If we consider the human body, we realise that it is much like a universe itself, containing countless spaces. Within our spiritual life, which is neither born nor destroyed, there reside infinite sentient beings with karmic affinity. These beings exist in every corner, every space, and every cell of our physical form. They are present within our:
Each of these organs and systems is composed of countless beings. In truth, our cells and organs are formed by the collective presence of these infinite lives. These beings include the countless parents, teachers, and elders from our past lifetimes, as well as our and attached spirits. Therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that the human body is a universe in its own right, composed of infinitely layered spaces and infinitely layered beings.
Our every action, word, thought, and intention—the manifestations of our Body, Speech, and Mind—creates ripples that are felt throughout this internal universe. The sentient beings with karmic affinity residing within us can receive these signals and react to them accordingly. This interaction is precisely what drives the cycle of and the inevitable process of birth, aging, sickness, and death. Because our internal environment is so deeply interconnected with our external expressions, the quality of our inner world depends entirely on our conduct.
If we wish to purify our bodies and the beings within them, we must strive to think well, act well, chant well, and speak well. Only through such diligent practice can we create the opportunity to give rise to all and achieve the fruit of . Conversely, if we engage in negative thoughts, actions, or speech, or if we allow ourselves to be governed by Greed, Anger, Ignorance, Arrogance, and Doubt, or the temptations of wealth, lust, fame, food, and sleep, we are merely introducing further pollution into our internal universe.
The fourfold assembly must understand this principle clearly. We must learn to properly nurture and purify our bodies. By doing so, we elevate the quality of our spirit, allowing us to enter a state of pure goodness and eventually see our true nature. .
