My dear children, you are currently residing in a sacred Buddha-land. This is a rare and precious opportunity that few in this world ever encounter. Within this environment, you have the constant presence of and Practitioner Su, who are always ready to assist you in resolving the conflicts that weigh upon your spirit. You have the opportunity to invite your to come forward, to be heard, and to be guided toward liberation through the compassionate power of the Buddha. This is a sanctuary where the heavy burdens of the past can finally be laid down, and where the light of the can illuminate the darkest corners of your heart.
You are blessed to hear the Buddha’s words and the teachings of Namo Amituofo at any moment. You have the guidance of your teacher, the care of Practitioner Su, and the constant protection of the Dragon and Heaven Dharma Protectors. Given all these conditions, I must ask you: How much do you truly believe in the Buddha? Do you possess genuine, unwavering faith in Him? This faith is the anchor that will hold you steady amidst the turbulent waves of the mundane world.
If you truly believe in the Buddha and have absolute faith in His teachings, you will naturally develop a profound understanding of the laws of and cause and effect. You will recognise that these laws are not merely abstract concepts, but the very fabric of our existence, governing every thought, word, and deed. Because you understand how terrifying the consequences of past actions can be, you will have already thoroughly changed your ways. You will have made a firm commitment to never repeat the mistakes of the past, choosing instead to walk the path of purity and virtue.
If you find that you have not yet changed, or that you continue to repeat the same errors, you must immediately summon the determination to stop. You must resolve to change your behaviour and never commit those transgressions again. True faith is not just a feeling; it is a transformative force that demands action and consistency in your daily conduct. It is the fire that burns away the impurities of the mind, leaving only the clarity of the true self.
If you truly believe in the Buddha and have faith in His wisdom, you will be able to deeply feel the sufferings of birth, aging, sickness, and death. You will realise that these are the inevitable burdens of life in the six realms of rebirth, and that they are the catalysts for your spiritual . Because you feel this suffering, you will naturally seek liberation from the cycle of rebirth. You will come to believe in the absolute reality of the of Ultimate Bliss, a realm of infinite light and peace.
With this faith, you will make a sincere vow to be reborn in the West. Your practice of chanting Namo Amituofo will become continuous, flowing like a river that never stops, nourishing your soul with every syllable. Whether you are at the moment of your passing, or if you are practising with the intent of ten sincere recitations, your wish to be reborn in the West will be fulfilled. You may even find your true self and attain a state of and ease, transcending the limitations of the physical form.
If you truly believe in the Buddha and have faith in His infinite , you will understand how magnificent and rare it is to have Namo Amituofo truly abide at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre. You must grasp every second, listen to the teachings, and be fiercely diligent in your practice. By doing so, you will see your true self, the radiant essence that has always been within you.
Do not stop at your own liberation. Once you have found your way, you must follow the Buddha’s example and join in the work of saving endless suffering beings. This is the path of the , and it is the highest expression of your faith. Let your life be a testament to the power of the Dharma, and may you always walk in the light of Namo Amituofo.
