What is truly worth giving your all for? It is the rare, singular opportunity that presents itself in this lifetime. If you wish to end the cycle of rebirth and be reborn in the of Ultimate Bliss, you must commit yourself entirely to this goal. This is not a task for tomorrow; it is a commitment for this very moment.
Consider the critical juncture at the end of your life. That final, fleeting moment is the deciding factor between two vastly different paths:
Because this moment is so pivotal, you must give your all to prepare for it now. This preparation requires the diligent practice of purifying your body, heart, and spirit long before that final breath is taken.
If you can practise at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre until you realise your true nature, you will attain the same profound skills as Practitioner Su. You will possess the ability to travel freely to and from the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This is why your practice in this life must be one of total dedication. You must first save yourself, for only then will you have the capacity to save others.
Furthermore, this human body is incredibly difficult to obtain. To have received a human body, to have heard the Pure Land Gate, and to have encountered Namo Amituofo—this is an opportunity that is difficult to encounter even in millions of years. You must give your all to practise, to seek out your true self, and to join the Buddha in the work of saving the world.
Within this physical body, you carry a vast multitude of beings: your ancestors and teachers from countless lifetimes, your , attached spirits, demon crowds, and even the very cells of your body. When you, as the practitioner, change your ways and sincerely chant Namo Amituofo, these beings will begin to chant along with you.
As a result, your karmic creditors will change their nature, transform their , and move toward awakening. The various beings within your body will follow this transformation, eventually reaching the state of awakening themselves. This is truly extraordinary. Every one of these beings will no longer be seeking revenge or settling old grievances. Instead, they will be just like you—purified and awakened.
Furthermore, each of these beings can manifest their own bodies, just as Practitioner Su has . Because they have been transformed by your sincerity, they too will cultivate until they reach awakening. Therefore, as you work toward your own awakening, you must also lead and help the beings within you to reach that same state. You must give your all to this task.
This is the most important work you can do, for it saves not only yourself but also the immeasurable and boundless beings residing within you. When the time comes to return to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss, you will not go alone; you will bring this infinite multitude of beings with you. This is the noble mission of the students of Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre—to diligently practise, to seek awakening, and to save both oneself and all beings. You must seize this life and this moment at Hsiang Kuang to fulfil this vow.
