Understanding Namo Amituofo and the Forty-eight Great Vows
The path to Buddhahood requires a heart that is fearless in the face of any test. When your manifests or when you encounter difficult examinations in your life, you must not shrink away. Instead, you must engage in sincere repenting, take full responsibility for your actions, and commit yourself to change your ways. Only through this process can you truly achieve success in your practice.
Tests are not meant to discourage you; rather, they are mirrors that reveal your own weaknesses. If you can successfully pass a test, it signifies a form of rebirth and a significant step forward in your spiritual journey.
If you pass, you must continue to move forward without stopping, as this confirms that your current method of practice is effective. Conversely, if you fail to pass a test, it indicates that you are regressing. In such moments, you must reflect deeply, as it may mean that your current approach is not the most suitable path for your progress.
The Buddha’s teachings are incredibly subtle, reaching into the finest details of our existence. Every thought and intention you hold is a part of this vast, interconnected reality.
If you allow yourself to think, arises; once consciousness arises, karma is immediately formed. Therefore, I offer this counseling to you:
When you encounter a demon, you must maintain your meditative concentration. Do not be deceived or led astray by the illusions of the demonic realm.
The actions of such beings are governed by the laws of karma and cause and effect, and they cannot escape the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.
When you walk the Buddha’s path with sincerity, the dragons and heavenly beings will protect you. Move forward directly without fear, for this is the true Buddha-heart and the fulfilment of your vows. Namo Amituofo.
