Our spirit dwells within the physical body, using it as a vessel to interact with the world around us. When reaches the end of its karmic lifespan and passes away, the physical form decays and returns to the elements. Yet, the spirit itself does not die; it is immortal. Once the spirit departs from the body, it naturally yearns for a stable and peaceful destination. For those who practise chanting and possess sufficient good roots, , and Causal Conditions, they are able to be reborn in the of Ultimate Bliss. This transition is not a finality, but a profound shift in one's spiritual trajectory.
The Radiant Promise of the Western Pure Land
At the moment of rebirth, the worldly connection concludes, and a new, eternal journey begins in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. This realm is defined by the following qualities: Infinite Life, a state of existence where the spirit is no longer bound by the limitations of time; Infinite Light, a realm of boundless wisdom and clarity, bestowed by the vow of Namo Amituofo; and Spiritual Purification, an environment perfectly suited for the final purification of the spirit until one reaches Buddhahood.
Within this environment, one practises until they enter the Land of Eternally Quiescent Light, completing the ultimate goal of spiritual purification. Yet, this also marks the start of a new mission: to return to the world and save sentient beings with karmic affinity, guiding them back to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss. Practitioner Su is a living example of this noble path, demonstrating how one can fulfil this compassionate mission by following the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way.

Our spiritual life has been caught in the cycle of rebirth for countless eons. We have experienced endless cycles of life and death, beginning and ending, over and over again since time immemorial. This spiritual life is not confined to one world; it traverses different realms, including other galaxies and distant planets. The entire universe is a single, interconnected entity. This includes all beings, even those from distant stars, who are all part of the same vast realm.
When we look at the universe through the lens of the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, we realise that the cycle of rebirth is a fundamental reality for all life within the cosmos. An extraterrestrial being who enters the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss today may have been a human in a past life, or perhaps they once descended to a planet in the Milky Way with the intention of saving beings, only to become lost in the cycle of rebirth themselves.

When we open our hearts and achieve Awakening, we can see the depth of what is stored within our . The spiritual memories we carry are rich, brilliant, and vast, yet they are also filled with profound sorrow and helplessness. Because we lack autonomy, we are often swept away by the flow of . We may have the vow to do good, but we encounter impermanence and are unable to fulfil our wishes. Now, you must ask yourself: will you continue to repeat the same fate you have endured for countless lifetimes, or will you choose to achieve Awakening, break free from the cycle of rebirth, and live a life of true autonomy?
We are not just one with the people, mountains, and rivers we see in this world; we are one with all beings throughout the Dharma realm. We have experienced countless beginnings and endings, merely changing our appearance and moving to a new location to start again. This human life is but a tiny point in the vast timeline of our existence. However, if you find your true self, you can achieve what has remained unfulfilled for countless eons.
