Embracing the Newness of the Present Moment

At any time and in any place, we are always in the present moment. This is the essence of a new beginning. Everything that occurred before this very instant has already passed into history. Therefore, you must not look back or dwell upon what has already gone.

The Eternal Present

Regardless of your past experiences or how they relate to your current situation, you must choose to face the present with the attitude of a new life. When you let go of the burdens of yesterday, you create the space necessary for true spiritual growth to take root within your heart. This is the path to liberation, where each breath is an opportunity to start anew.

The Innocence of a New Beginning

Consider the face of a newborn infant. Its pure, innocent expression often touches the hearts of adults, reminding us of the simplicity we have lost. In the same way, when a practitioner approaches the Buddha’s teachings with the sincerity and earnestness of a newborn, they find the hope required to rediscover their original, true self. This sincerity is the key that unlocks the door to the Western Pure Land.

Awakening the True Self

Within the Pure Land path, this spirit of renewal brings forth a fresh atmosphere. It is here that you will witness the Dharma lineage being transmitted through the ages. By maintaining this state of constant renewal, you align yourself with the wisdom of the Buddhas and ensure that your journey towards the Western Pure Land remains clear and unobstructed. May you always walk this path with a heart that is forever new and pure.
