Matters of right and wrong are naturally governed by the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, as well as the laws of and cause and effect. These are not merely human constructs or subjective opinions; they are the fundamental truths that govern all existence. While the and approaches of beings regarding right and wrong may vary with age, experience, and other factors, the core truth remains constant. Regardless of these variations, one must persist in doing what is right and what benefits all beings.
Beings in this world suffer immensely. If you have found a way to benefit all beings and help them resolve their suffering, do not speak lightly of abandoning or departing from this work. Do not allow external circumstances or internal factors to cause you to interrupt, abandon, or diverge from this path. When you are engaged in the work of saving others, you must stay the course with unwavering commitment.
In your practice and purification, every small step taken towards entering a state of purity allows your self-power to arise. When this self-power is combined with the Buddha's blessings, you can provide substantial and meaningful help to all beings. If you can personally experience the of the and the freedom that comes from being selfless and unburdened, you will be able to walk even further on the path to the of Ultimate Bliss, thereby benefiting countless more beings.
Do not let your heart diverge. Maintain a single, focused mind—a mind that is free from dualistic thoughts and eventually enters the state of no-mind. When you chant , do not let your practice be interrupted by distractions. Keep your chanting pure and direct, without mixing in other thoughts. In your practice of the Pure Land path, do not diverge. Be diligent in your practice to see your true nature, and do not delay in the work of spreading the Dharma. When you know you are doing the right thing, move forward directly and do not let your focus waver. Namo Amituofo.
