The Eternal Truth Within the Moment

In a single moment, one may see clearly. Yet, that fleeting instant can stretch into an infinite duration. This is not about shattering an ancient vessel or breaking through some external barrier. It is simply that the truth has always been this way, waiting for us to perceive it. We often look for complex answers, but the reality of our existence is far more direct and profound than our minds can grasp. When we align ourselves with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way, the veil of ignorance begins to lift.

The Endless Cycle of the Dream

Yet, everyone remains lost within this illusion, allowing confusion to pull them back and forth like a leaf in a storm. Time and again, one awakens from the madness of the six realms of rebirth, only to drift back into the path of dreams once more. We find ourselves caught in a repetitive cycle, waking up only to fall back into the slumber of ignorance. This is the nature of our wandering through samsara, where we lose our way because we have forgotten our original nature.

The Coolness of the Awakened Spirit

When one is truly awakened, one is not merely buffeted by the winds of karma. Instead, when the wind blows, it brings a refreshing coolness to the body and spirit. This is the state of purification of the Six Roots. When lost, however, one drifts aimlessly with the wind, helplessly spending lifetime after lifetime in confusion. We must ask ourselves: when will the spring breeze finally accompany the spring soil? When will we allow the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way to nourish all spirits on the endless path toward Awakening? By chanting Namo Amituofo, we can transcend this cycle and find our true home in the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss.
