Teachings from :
My dear children, you must recognise that your life and your physical body are incredibly precious. You must cherish them deeply and use them wisely to realise your true nature. Without this physical form, you would have no way to reclaim your true self, for you would lack the vital opportunity to break through the barriers of your past .
In the of Ultimate Bliss, under the constant Buddha's of Namo Amituofo, one enjoys infinite life and infinite light. It is only in such a perfect environment that one can engage in the long, arduous practice required to eventually attain Buddhahood.
Generally speaking, the state of your spirit at the moment of death determines the level of space you will inhabit. Even if you exist as a spirit without a physical body, you may accumulate merit and virtue, which can assist in your spiritual elevation, much like the celestial beings. However, this elevation remains within a very limited scope.
Even if you reach the highest of the ten directions—the Buddha Realm—and dwell in a deep meditative state, you are merely experiencing a temporary state of your spirit. It is very quiet, much like the state of Nirvana, but you have not truly entered Nirvana, nor have you realised your .
Only by borrowing this human body to endure various trials, hardships, and suffering can you truly progress. You must break through, break through, and break through again. By constantly purifying your spirit, you will naturally reveal the original, most authentic, and essential nature of your true self.
This true self possesses infinite potential. Once revealed, it can expand without limit: infinite , infinite ability, infinite Wisdom, infinite virtue and merit, and infinite auspicious characteristics. When you possess this infinite ability—the ability of a Buddha—you can manifest it according to the circumstances, the environment, and the beings you encounter.
If you remain in a purely spiritual state, your ability is limited. However, by borrowing the human body, you can more effectively save and teach other beings. At this point, you transcend time and space. Whether in the ten directions or throughout the vast universe, all the beings you have encountered in your past lives become the objects of your salvation.
Generally, the refinement of the spirit is interrupted because the life of is finite. Afterward, in the cycle of rebirth, one must wait for the right conditions and environment to find another opportunity for practice and purification. It may take many lifetimes before one finally realises their true nature and attains Buddhahood.
Therefore, this realisation does not come from nothing. It requires deep Buddhist affinity from past lives, the constant support of Buddha's blessings, and the guidance of a Buddha, , or a virtuous teacher. When you encounter the missing piece of your understanding in this life, the breakthrough can happen in an instant: a single word, a look, a gesture, a dramatic scene, an article, a physical tap, witnessing a specific situation, or hearing a particular discourse. When your body and your Six Roots receive this, the blockage is cleared. The darkness and confusion are suddenly dispelled, and the light of wisdom shines through. Your entire being becomes clear, your Six Roots are purified, and your spirit breaks through all obstacles. Your heart, mind, and spirit are illuminated. This is what we call Awakening—realising your true nature and attaining Buddhahood.
My dear children, such a moment is rare and difficult to encounter. This is the true value of realising your true nature and attaining Buddhahood. Once you have reached this state, you begin the work of saving the world. The celestial beings will look upon you with reverence, and the Four Sages will kneel to request the . This is the greatest fortune for all beings!
