The vast multitude of sentient beings drift aimlessly through the cosmos. In life, they have no true refuge to rely upon; in death, they have no reliable support to guide them. They create boundless , yet they remain entirely unaware of the grave dangers that surround them. They treat the six realms of rebirth as a mundane, everyday occurrence, failing to realise the true nature of their own existence or the precariousness of their situation.
However, the roots of are precious. When the capacity for is nurtured, the true nature can be revealed. Through the pure affinity, one can perceive the destination of one's journey. All beings are bound by the karmic debts and grievances accumulated over countless eons. Where there is attachment, there is karma; where there is no attachment, there is no karma. There is no mark of sentient beings, no mark of a life span, no mark of a self, and no mark of a person. When these marks are transcended, all phenomena are seen for what they are, and all karma finds its rightful resolution.
If you still possess a life span in this world, and your body and spirit have not yet reached their final destination, you must awaken to the reality of your situation. You must be true to yourself, diligent in your humility, committed to your studies, and active in assisting all beings. If you remain attached to worldly phenomena, it is difficult to perceive the true purity of the Dharma. Such attachments are merely like historical records—fleeting images that pass before the eyes and vanish in an instant.
The suffering of beings is endless, and the causes of this suffering are immeasurable. Yet, the path to the cessation of suffering is also vast and infinite. Everything you experience in this human life—the countless counts of karma, the immeasurable emotions, and the immense difficulties—are all part of the karmic web. None of these things bring true . Whether you enter the world or leave it, your actions must be guided by the right path. You must be clear about your intentions.
Purity is not merely a concept; it is a state of being that must be cultivated in every moment. To achieve this, you must focus on the purification of your Six Roots. When you act with the intention of purity, you act for the benefit of all beings. If all beings can be liberated from suffering, they will naturally realise their own true nature. They will understand their own coming and going, which is the manifestation of the laws of karma and cause and effect. If the cause is pure, the result will also be pure.
One who contains all within the void, and who hides the void within , shall perceive the true meaning of pure emptiness. You must harmonise with this. In this life, the teachings you have received are immeasurable. You have heard much about the six realms of rebirth and the four holy states. Now, you must ask yourself: how much time remains in this life? This is a matter that rests entirely in your own hands. Whether you have much time left or very little, you must use it wisely.
Your eyes must see with clarity, and your ears must listen only to the pure teachings of the Dharma. If your mind is focused on the right thoughts, you will naturally understand the truth. Having spent thirty years in study, you must reflect on the essence of that knowledge. Having walked through a garden of a thousand flowers, you must ensure that you do not leave even a single petal of attachment behind. You are holding the flower of the Dharma; you must know to whom you are passing it. The school is not an ordinary path; it is the supreme way to transcend the cycle of rebirth.
Venerable Master Chin Kung, you must awaken. You have reached the age of ninety; how much time is truly left? You must act swiftly to save the myriad spirits who are currently trapped in the fires of suffering. The world waits for your response. A simple nod of your head is all that is required to commit to this final, vital work. This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
