Namo Amituofo's discourse:
What is it that you must not delay? You must not delay in changing your personality traits. If your personality gives rise to the creation of negative , you will bear the consequences yourself when the fruits ripen; no one can take your place, and no one can act on your behalf. Your suffering arises from within, not from others, but from yourself. You alone must bear the weight of your suffering and the of your liberation.
Do not delay in keeping Namo Amituofo in every thought. Speak well, act well, and think well; if you delay, you will create negative karma. Be cautious with every thought and intention. When every thought is filled with Namo Amituofo, you are protected by the Buddha. When your thoughts are empty of the Buddha, delusions arise, and these delusions become your master. In such moments, you create negative karma; you must quickly cease these deluded thoughts to avoid suffering.
Do not delay in making your vow for rebirth in the . Impermanence in this world can arrive at any moment; your heart should be alert, and your actions should be transformed. Keep the Buddha-name constantly with you, never letting it leave your heart, and your skills in chanting Buddha's name will surely reach accomplishment. The Buddha is in your faith, in your vows, in your practice, and in your heart. When every thought is filled with Namo Amituofo, your hearts and actions will be purified.
Do not delay in your diligent practice. Purify your Body-Mind-Spirit, and cultivate Goodness upon Goodness. When will you ever have another opportunity like this? Rediscovering your true self is your own personal matter; look inward, not outward. When your true self is the master, all beings can be saved. This is the time to save yourself and save beings.
Do not delay in your efforts to save beings. Beings suffer and struggle to be the master of their own lives, trapped in the six realms of rebirth without end. We hope you will leave the cycle of rebirth and attain rebirth in the Western Pure Land, so that your time at Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre is not spent in vain. Namo Amituofo.
