The sky is vast and the earth is boundless. As we traverse this world, we often find ourselves asking: where is the true home for the wandering child's heart? With nowhere to go, the path ahead is shrouded in darkness. Our joys and sorrows, our meetings and partings, are all driven by the heavy of the cycle of rebirth. Everything we experience in this world is but an illusory scene, a frantic busyness that leads to no lasting peace. We change our faces and identities through countless lifetimes, yet the heart remains filled with a deep, lingering sorrow.
Just when we feel most lost, a sound arises from the distance. Where does this sound of the Buddha-name come from? It feels strange to our worldly ears, yet deep within our original nature, it is profoundly familiar. , Namo Amituofo, the sound echoes across the heavens. Every chant and every recitation shakes the very depths of our hearts. It is our Compassionate Father calling His child to return home. We have long forgotten our true home in the of Ultimate Bliss, having been wandering, lost for thousands of years in the darkness of ignorance.
For so long, we did not recognise the path back to our true home. However, at this very moment, we have finally awakened, bringing comfort to the Compassionate Father's heart. He still stands as He always has, with His arms outstretched, waiting with hands lowered to welcome His child home. This is the ultimate truth of our existence: we are never truly abandoned. By chanting Namo Amituofo, we align ourselves with the Universal Principle, the Truth, and the Right Way. We leave behind the suffering of the six realms of rebirth and find the happiness of our original nature. Let us cherish this opportunity to return, for the path is open, and the Father is waiting.
This message was recorded by the Buddha's disciple, Venerable HaiZe.
