How many years have already slipped away? The Hsiang Kuang Buddhist Centre and you have walked this path together through the passage of time. Within the flow of moments, seconds and minutes vanish into the past. Who truly remembers who, and what remains of our connections? We often see our great achievements and worldly successes slip through our fingers like sand, leaving behind nothing but a name in the human world. We talk of these things over tea and meals, yet with each new life, we are transformed, taking on a new form and a new identity.
We might ask ourselves: how were things in the past, and how are they now? Even if we feel a sense of familiarity with our previous lives, what does it truly matter? These memories are merely stored within the depths of our spiritual . We often hope to capture a faint trace of those past emotions, but why must we yearn to reclaim the courage or the glory of those bygone days? It is far more important to grasp the present moment, for that is where our true work lies.
If you still have one breath remaining, your connection to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss remains intact. However, if that breath ceases and you have not prepared, the connection to the Western Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss is lost. This is the great of the human world—to realise that our time is limited and precious. We must use our remaining time wisely to ensure our path is secure.
Fortunately, we have Practitioner Su at the Hsiang Kuang Pure Land Buddhist Centre, who works tirelessly to perform for lonely spirits and sentient beings. You must cherish the time you have while you still possess a human body. provides excellent protection for all who chant the Buddha's name. You must have faith, make your vows, and put them into practice without deviation. Be diligent and tireless, making progress every single day. Seeking to rediscover your true self is the most important task of all. Once you have done so, you can continue to protect the Buddha's disciples and carry out the work of saving the world.
