Within the overlapping layers of space, countless beings reside. The past, present, and future extend vertically through the three periods of time within the void, and horizontally across the ten directions of the Dharma Realm; they are also contained within the universe of this very body. Every cell within possesses , forming a collective community of life.
The interaction between cells operates on the principle of mutual well-being: I am well, you are well, and he is well. If you harbour negativity or malice, it creates obstacles that cause illness for me and others.
If you are ill or have aged, I am simultaneously disturbed, and he, too, cannot find peace.
Within these overlapping layers of the body, the true self is intended to be the master, while the cells and are merely guests. The true self is the rightful master, but when manifests, it falls into delusion and becomes a prisoner, trapped within the body and unable to take charge.
The cells and karmic creditors within the body then become the masters, acting according to karma, leading to aging, sickness, and death, and the suffering when the four elements separate.
The body endures this devastation until the final breath is drawn and life ceases. The karmic creditors depart, and the true self is forced to leave the body, becoming a spirit drifting in the void, floating without a place to rest. These are the lonely wandering spirits, suffering in isolation and sorrow.
Some, through ignorance, fall into the animal realm as chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, cows, horses, or sheep. If filled with hatred, they fall into the hells, enduring unimaginable suffering and harsh punishment.
If one can encounter , one may receive and be reborn in the human or heavenly realms, or enter the Western Land of Dharma Nature, thereby escaping the Three Evil Realms. By listening to the sutras and relying on the power of the vow, one can be guided into the .
