In the Infinite Life Sutra (The Buddha Speaks the , Infinite Life, Adornment, Purity, Impartiality, and Sutra), the text uses the phrase "majestic light" to describe the extraordinary radiance of Shakyamuni Buddha. This "majestic light" is one of the auspicious signs manifested by the Buddha. It represents the magnificent light of prestige and virtue emanating from his very being. The sight of Shakyamuni Buddha’s light at that moment was truly breathtaking, leaving all who witnessed it in awe.
It is said that all Buddhas walk the same path. The Buddha-light of every Buddha contains the power of merit and the great vows they made during their causal stage. Because of this, when beings are illuminated by this light, they are able to leave their suffering behind and find happiness.

The Buddha-light of Namo Amituofo and the Twelve Lights possess the power of merit, majestic power, and the vow of Practitioner Su to save countless suffering beings. This light shines across the entire universe, reaching demonic beings of the Earth, the Milky Way, the universe, beyond the heavens, other paths, and other realms.
This light subdues countless demonic beings, including the ancient demons and old demons that have existed for hundreds of trillions of years throughout the Realm. This is truly a manifestation of the great compassion of the Buddha.
Every being possesses this same Buddha nature within you, yet it remains covered, hidden in the long night of darkness. We hope that all beings will engage in diligent practice to rediscover this Buddha nature within you.
